Nursing and midwifery courses in Uttarakhand can be a great lure for Uttarakhand youth. Uttarakhand Government is inviting application for government recognized ANM and GNM course.

Below are the details:

Type of course: The courses are Nursing and midwifery courses in Uttarakhand. Both A.N.M (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery), G.N.M (General Nursing and Midwifery) are professional courses (means the successful completion of courses gets the person a job) are part of medical streams.

Below are the eligibility criteria/ requirements for the two courses:

A.N.M (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery):

Minimum Educational Qualification: 10th pass. Person of any stream can apply (science or arts).
Age Limit:-15 to 35 years
Course Duration: - 1 and 1/2 years

G.N.M (General Nursing and Midwifery):
Minimum qualification:-10+2 or 12th with minimum 40% marks
Age limit:-17 to 35 years
Course duration: - 3 and 1/2 years

Cost of Application form: Rs. 640

Those interested can purchase the form from specified Post Offices (generally main post offices of the District). In case of the non-availability of the form in your nearest or district post office; then you can purchase it from Dehradun and Pantnagar Post- Offices.

Last Date of sale of application Forms: 10th of September

Last Date for Submission of duly filled forms: 12th of September

Duly filled application forms must be sent to:
