The second empowered committee probing the alleged DAV PG College Dehradun Law entrance examination, held on August 14 2011, has made public its report yesterday. The committee found the allegations of Paper leak as baseless. Hence late evening, the DAV PG College Dehradun, DAV Road, Karanpur, Dehradun,248001, released the first merit list of the successful candidates of the Law Entrance Examination 2011.
Notably, the List is the same released by the College on Thursday 13 October 2011.
No changes have been made to the October 13 List and the list is put on the college notice board as such.
In the examination a total of 1368 candidates appeared. The college has released the first list of successful candidates, who will be filling a total of 320 seats available for the admissions to the first year of LLB session 2011-12.
Below is the category-wise breakage of the First merit List:
General_____________83-52 seats
SC_____________37-54 seats
ST_____________41-55 seats
OBC_____________31-54 seats
Other States_____________54-66 seats

The candidates are requested to visit the DAV PG College Dehradun, DAV Road, Karanpur, Dehradun 248001, Uttarakhand, campus to see their result.
The successful candidates mentioned in the First Merit List are instructed to take admission, which will take place in Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hall, from 16 to 19 November 2011. The candidates are advised to reach the college along with their recent passport size photographs and all documents in original. Those candidates which have not taken TC and character certificate from their last college, will need to get the two certificates from their last college as well.
After this period, 16-19 November 2011, the college will release the First Waiting List to fill the unfilled vacancies. If seats still remain vacant, then the college will release the Second Waiting List on 22 November 2011. The candidates in the second waiting list will have to take admissions by 24 November 2011.
