2253 UTET Qualified to be selected as Teacher Trainees

The Uttarakhand Government has decided to appoint UTET (Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified candidates as Trainee Teachers.

Notably, the Government has approved an increase of 596 posts to the earlier announced 1657 posts. Hence a total of 2253 Teacher Trainees posts will now be available for appointment.

Both the training and further appointment will be on District-wise basis.

Remuneration (Salary): The training will be of 6 months duration; for which the trainee will receive Rs 7300 per month as salary.

Post Training Road Map: After the Six months of training, the trainees will be appointed at primary Schools in Uttarakhand. The appointment will depend on the vacancies in the primary schools in a district.

1) An applicant can apply in his/her Home-district only.

3) It's compulsory for a candidate to have Graduation and BEd.

4) UTET qualified BED (special) and DEd can also apply

5) Age Limit: 18-40 years as of July 2011

NOTE: SC, ST, OBC and Ex-Servicemen to get 5 years age relaxation.

NOTE: PH Handicapped to get 10 years relaxation in age.

6) The Applicant should be Domicile of Uttarakhand

7) The applicant should be registered at employment exchange in the state before 25 December 2011.

8) The appointment for the Trainee program will be on Seniority Basis.
