Hence, below are some important information about Uttarakhand Pre ANM and GNM Entrance Examination 2012:

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Age should not be less than 17 years and above 35 years as on December 31, 2012

Educational Eligibility and important information:

A.N.M (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery):

Minimum Educational Qualification: 12th pass. Person of any stream can apply (science or arts).
Age Limit:-15 to 35 years
Course Duration: - 1 and 1/2 years

G.N.M (General Nursing and Midwifery):

Minimum qualification:-10+2 or 12th in Science Stream passed with minimum 40% marks. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categoriesthe minimum 35% marks.

Age limit:-17 to 35 years
Course duration: - 3 and 1/2 years

NOTE: There's no Age limit for ANM/LHV(Lay Home Visitor)  who apply for GNM.

Rules which Apply to both ANM and GNM:

1) Those candidates are eligible who have passed the eligibility Exams (Class Xth and XIIth) from Uttarakhand State Education Board or some recognized institution affiliated to CBSE/ ICSE and is a domicile/Permanent resident of Uttarakhand.

2) Those candidates WHO ARE NOT DOMICILES OF UTTARAKHAND, but have passed the both Class Xth and XIIth from Uttarakhand State Education Board, or some recognized institution affiliated to CBSE/ ICSE, SITUATED IN UTTARAKHAND. But such applicants will not make a claim to any Reserved Seats.

3) Those candidates who have passed the eligibility Exams (Class Xth and XIIth) from a recognized instituion outside Uttarakhand; but is a Domicile of Uttarakhand.
