Very few people know that the chief minister of Uttarakhand, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, has penned some books too. The fact that Pokriyal himself has lived a life of grit and determination, overcoming all odds to become the chief minister of Uttarakhand, makes one of his books worth mentioning.

The book titled, Safalta ke Achuk Mantra, meaning “highly effective tips for success”, is one such book. The book, whose bangla translation is unveiled today by Supreme Court Judge Altmas Kabir, can prove to be really effective for countless hill youths, who can easily relate with the odds the author faced in his early life.
