Irish teachers training teachers in Uttarakhand in English language

A Dehradun based NGO, the Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra (RLEK), has been running a unique programme in Uttarakhand from the last few years.

The NGO, run by Padamshree awardee Avadash Kuashal, has been bringing teachers from Ireland to train teachers in Uttarakhand in English language. A group of Irish teachers currently present in the hill state, is the seventh visit of the Irish teachers to Uttarakhand during which they usually take class of nearly 60 teachers, who are teaching underprivileged children.

The team comprising senior teachers and headmasters are training a group of teachers here in reading, spoken English, reciting poems and other skills in English language.
