Is your child born on 'Uttarakhand's 108 Service' ?

If yes -- then pat on your backs; as you as parents are soon to be felicitated and your child adopted by the Uttarakhand Government.

In a bid to encourage the use of Uttarakhand Government's mobile 108 emergency service, for safe delivery; the state CM Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has ordered the district magistrate of Tehri Garhwal district to make a list of children born on 108 emergency service (means who called 108 number to get the child delivered).

Speaking at Ghansali, in Tehri Garhwal district, as part of his current 'people connect' campaign, the CM announced that the parents of such children will be felicitated and the state will take the responsibility of such child's future Health, Medical Treatment and Education.

The CM also announced to felicitate those 108 service employees who rendered exceptional service.

hailing the role of 108 emergency service, the CM informed that a total of 34 children were born on 108 service.
