Sahara India Parivaar is planning to open an ultra modern university in Uttarakhand. In addition, to best faculty the new university will also include professional courses Like programmes in Arts, Multimedia, Mass Communication and Engineering.

The pointers in this context were given by Sahara India Parivaar Director Mr Sudhir Kumar Shrivastava during a courtesy visit to new Uttarakhand CM Mr B C Khanduri. Elaborating on the plans for the new university, Mr Kumar informed the CM that the new Sahara University in Uttarakhand will be India's first ultra modern university.

The CM assured the Mr Kumar of full cooperation in setting up the university.
