Apple founder and tech visionary, Steve Jobs has departed for the heavenly abode last Thursday, but the world is still remembering the exceptionally talented man to have lived on this planet. Steve,
who had a life of ups and downs, visited India in 1974 for what he later called “spiritual retreat” and a philosophical quest. During his visit, because of his interest in Para Psychology, he also visited Kainchi Ashram, in Nainital, Uttarakhand (the Ashram of Baba Neem Karoli or Baba Neeb Karori, considered a reincarnation of Lord Hanuman, a monkey God in Hinduism); and it’s now widely believed that it's where, Jobs got the inspiration to found Apple. In the video below, Vinod Joshi, Manager Kainchi Dham, shares some interesting bits from Steve Jobs stay at Kainchi.
