Uttarakhand Lok Ayukta Draft incorporates 80 percent Team Anna recommendations
The BJP government in Uttarakhand is going to introduce its version of the Lok Ayukta Bill in the assembly next month. Notably, Prashant Bhushan and Arvind Kejriwal, the key Team Anna members were in the drafting committee for this proposed law.
Notably, sources close to the matter are giving the credit for the strong Lokayukta draft to the chief minister BC Khanduri. The final draft is known to have incorporated almost 80% of the features suggested by Team Anna.
