UBSE in dilemma after Nainital HC’s order to declare UTET_1 result soon

You may be aware that the Honorable Nainital High Court on November 25 ordered the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), to declare the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET_1 or UTET 2011) result soon.

Notably, some of the UTET_1 candidates had filed a petition in Honorable Nainital High Court, against UBSE for not declaring the results of those candidates who have secured less than 45 percent marks in their Graduation.

The honorable High Court found UBSE's such action non-conforming to the existing laws; and hence ordered it to declare the outstanding results in an exigent manner.

But the Government seems to be in a great dilemma now. The reason for this dilemma is – in case it relaxes the 45 percent in graduation criterion; then the candidates who didn’t apply for the UTET 1, because of the percentage restriction, may go to court.
