Married people are happier. I'm not saying this, but a recent study conducted by researchers at Michigan State University, is making this claim. According to the study, Marriage can be rough, but it seems to be better than the alternative, of remaining unmarried.
The study finds that married people aren’t happier than when they were single, but over time, and all things considered, married people are happier than those who are not married.
The Study Findings:
The study simply says that people on average are happier than they would have been if they didn't get married. It's here important to underline that the study is not saying that people become more happier after marriage. It simply says that of the two people, one married and other unmarried, the married one is likely to be happier.
That apart, the Marriage does not cause satisfaction levels to spike, but a union tends to keep happiness at a stable level.
Conclusion:
Marry.
