A recent study report about the incidence of Obesity in USA, finds that by 2030, 42 percent of US Adults will be obese. At present this number is 36 percent.

That said, it's always been believed that in order to lose body weight through Yoga, one has to do all those tedious Yoga Asanas or Yoga poses

When the fact of the matter is, this can be anything but true.

During my more than a decade of Yoga teaching; I found that Yoga is not Asanas, meditation or deep breathing -- Yoga is a Life elevating science or Yoga is a Lifestyle.

Let I explain you this.

Yoga is not about mastering techniques, Yoga is adopting a Lifestyle -- A Lifestyle which is Good for the body and the brain. A lifestyle which is peaceful and delivers Happiness.

Hence, to adopt this lifestyle, you don't need to do Asanas at the word go.

If you commit yourself to do deep breathing for a first few months. You instantly put yourself in aspiration for a healthy eating and healthy  lifestyle. How this happens? Elevated consciousness.

When we deep breathe, better flow of Air or "Prana" or "Life" happens in your body. This means you getting positive thoughts and higher consciousness. Higher consciousness and positivity helps us look intelligently at our every act.

What we choose to eat is one among them.

If you are trying to lose weight, do what I suggested you today. At least two times a day, in the morning and the evening, in the open, each time in 3 spells of 1 minute each. And tell me after a fortnight, how you felt.
