Five Nursing Colleges will be established in Uttarakhand. During a review meeting of proposed works under the 13th Finance Commission in Dehradun yesterday, Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Alok Kumar Jain directed the officials to identify the land for setting up five nursing colleges in the hill towns of Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli, Almora and Pithoragarh.

All the nursing colleges, will have 120-bed hospitals. That apart, Hostels for students will also be constructed near the proposed nursing colleges.
