With you already attempted your best in the Uttarakhand Pre ANM and GNM Entrance Examination 2012, Held yesterday i.e. Sunday July 15, 2012; it's time to look at some quick facts. Facts which will help you prepare better the next time (in case you're not Lucky this time):

1) Number of Candidates who appeared for the Uttarakhand Pre ANM and GNM Entrance Examination 2012: 22,334

Total number of candidates who appeared for ANM (10 AM-12 PM) exam: 16313

Total number of candidates who appeared for GNM (3 PM-5 PM) exam: 6121

95 candidates who applied for the examinations couldn't appear in the entrance examination as their application forms were rejected by the University for inconsistencies. With most candidates forgetting to sign the declaration while submitting their application forms.

2) Number of ANM and GNM seats available in Government Colleges in Uttarakhand: 50 each in ANM and GNM. Total -- 100 seats. That apart, some Private colleges also conduct ANM and GNM courses in Uttarakhand.

3)  A Total of 32 examination centres were set up for ANM and 13 for GNM.

5) How Tough was the competition: Considering that not more than 20 percent of candidates in any exam actually prepare for the exam:

15 out of every 1000 examinees will be selected in ANM exam.

4 out of every 100 examinees will be selected in GNM exam.
