A Good news for UTET qualified candidates. The Government has set aside the stay on the recruitment in 2253 posts and has created a merit list of those candidates who will undergo a 6-month training. The Government order in this regard is already been passed.

The merit list will be revealed after the counting of votes in UdhamSinghNagar By-election.

Fact File:

1) The recruitment process for 2253 TET posts in Uttarakhand started in August 2011.

2) The delay was caused by High Court Stay on the final result.

3) As soon as Nainital HC removed the stay, the Government intended to add 131 more posts to the UTET recruitemnt. But for technical reasons these additional vacancies couldn't be added.

How the Merit List is prepared:

1) On the basis of Seniority(Year-wise).

2) The candidates who are in the Merit list will undergo a six month training, Vishisht BTC Training, at District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) and Schools.

3) On the completion of six month training recruitment will be made on a District-wise.
