The Uttarakhand Government has approved a beach camping policy and rope-way projects in Purnagiri and Yamunotri hill shrines, informed Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Alok Kumar Jain. The projects will be carried out under PPP Model.

Rope way projects are a Good way to preserve the pristine forest land from human trampling. Ideally every shrine which sees large number of pilgrims, should have rope ways and elevated paths, wherever the access route goes through the forests.
