Ever since Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University Badshahi Thaul, became the nodal body for running Private College Education in Uttarakhand, the state of affairs with respect to private learning have gone into disarray.

At First, it was utter confusion in the minds of the learners, regarding who to contact to fill private examination forms.

Later, after the Uttarakhand High Court's direction to the Government to ensure adequate infrastructure in Colleges in Uttarakhand, the Colleges became reluctant to admit students beyond a certain limit.

Creating Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University for Private College Education has also aggravated the situation, as its very conception resulted in swelling up of the candidates interested in pursuing College education privately.

As the Last date of Submitting SDSUV nearing (23 February without late fee and February 28, 2015 with Late Fee of Rs 500) thousands of applicants are flocking to various Colleges in Uttarakhand. But Colleges are unwilling to accept their private examination forms. The reason for which is lack of infrastructure to conduct any more exams.

To accommodate the surplus students, the VC of Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University has requested the Colleges to accept the examination forms. Assuring that these surplus applicants will be accommodated later on to new Examination Centres, the SDSUV plans to set up.
