IGNOU charges BPL rural Students Half Fee for these IGNOU courses. These IGNOU certificate courses focus on agricultural activities and can be useful for any person practicing agriculture and related activities.

IGNOU had been offering fee exemption for certain IGNOU programmes to students from rural areas who come under Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.

50 percent Fee Waiver  to people from rural areas who come under Below Poverty Line (BPL) category

IGNOU had been offering a 50 percent fee discount/waiver to people from rural areas who come under Below Poverty Line (BPL) category for the following IGNOU agricultural programmes:

• Diploma in Watershed Management
• Diploma in Value Added Projects of Fruits and Vegetables
• Diploma in Dairy Technology

The application form cum prospectus for these programmes will also be provided free of cost to these BPL category rural candidates. NOTE: Visit IGNOU Website or IGNOU Regional Center near you for more details. Upcoming admissions will take place in July and January every year.
